The inaugural Steel City Rumble Series is a five-race championship for Super Stocks at Flamboro Speedway.
A race is scheduled for each month:
The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models from the '60s to the current year. The rules used in the class allow some suspension modifications and changes to the bodies. Some Super Stock cars retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most use fiberglass body panels. They are powered by a modified small-block engines or crate motors from General Motors and Ford. The division serves as a 'stepping stone' for those drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category. Tire rules have been implemented to reduce expenses. Teams are limited to an inventory of four used and four new tires during the season. Also, if a driver hasn't competed in the first two races and enters a single event, they must start last. The inaugural Steel City Rumble Series for Super Stocks was held at Flamboro Speedway on May 24. Drivers competed in the London Recreational Racing thirty-five-lap contest around the 0.333-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

The starting grid was determined by the roll of a dice. A six was rolled, which meant it would be a full inversion, with the slowest qualifier starting on the pole and the fastest at the back of the field. On the pole for the first Steel City Rumble was Cole Burrows in the No. 63 Chase Contracting Chevrolet Camaro. Beside Burrows was Chad Corcoran's No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro. In row two were Colton Everingham and Brendon Edgar. |

Lane Zardo is a perennial front-runner at any Super Stock event. Zardo was the 2021 Qwick Wick Super Stock champion and finished third in last year's Dayco Series with a victory at Flamboro Speedway. In round one of the Steel City Rumble, he qualified third driving the No. 36Z Ford Mustang and started eighth. Zardo began his march forward, and by lap 26, he followed Bailey Jacobs past Chad Corcoran for the lead and win. |

Bailey Jacobs is a Peterborough Speedway regular but participated in the opening round of the St. Onge Recreation Super Stock Series at Sunset, where he finished third. At Flamboro, he started seventh after qualifying fourth. Jacobs wasted little moving to the front in the No. 60 Chemong Home Solutions Chevrolet Camaro. On lap 26, he and Lane Zardo passed the leader, Chad Corcoran. Jacobs trailed Zardo and finished second. |

Rounding out the top three was Roy Wilkie. Wilke has many laps around Flamboro Speedway and is a former Super Stock track champion. His experience showed as he was the fastest qualifier in the No. 33 Canadian Crane Rentals Ford Mustang. Wilke started tenth but advanced quickly and was in third by lap 7. He was battling with Bailey Jacobs when Lane Zardo slipped past. Wilke crossed the finish line in third place. |
