In 2020, arrangements were made for the popular Super Stock division to compete as a support event at three APC United Late Model Series rounds. Contests were conducted at Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway, with the finale at Jukasa Motor Speedway. In 2021, the class received backing from Qwick Wick Fire Starters for the inaugural five-race championship. This year Dayco Belts and Hoses has replace Qwick Wick as the series primary sponsor.

There are five Dayco Super Stock Series events this season.

  • Saturday, June 14 - Peterborough Speedway
  • Friday, June 27 - Delaware Speedway
  • Saturday, July 12 - Flamboro Speedway
  • Saturday, August 23 - Sauble Speedway
  • Friday, September 26 - Delaware Speedway

The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models from the 60s to the current year. The rules used in the class allow some suspension modifications and changes to the bodies. Some Super Stock cars retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most use fiberglass body panels. They are powered by a modified small-block engines or crate motors from General Motors and Ford. The division serves as a stepping stone for those drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category.

A new restart procedure was introduced last year by series officials for the APC United Late Model and Dayco Super Stock divisions called the 'choose rule.' On restarts, competitors are allowed to choose their lane. Their selection may be determined by the condition of the track, how many cars are ahead of them or the handling of their vehicle. If a driver changes their choice after the designated 'choose spot,' they must start from the rear of the field.

Round two of the 2025 Dayco Super Stock series was held during Delaware Speedway’s Canada Day event. Drivers competed in a fifty-lap contest around the track’s half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

Twelve Dayco Super Stock competitors enter Delaware Speedway’s back straight for round two of the championship. Starting on the pole is the No. 36Z Bester Forest Products Ford Mustang of Lane Zardo. Next to Zardo is Nic Ramsay in the No. 07 Radar Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro. Row two includes the points leader, Carson Nagy, in the No. 93 Humberview Chevrolet Camaro and the No. 83 Chevrolet Camaro of Brody Rickwood.

Finishing in the runner-up position, by a margin of 3.032 seconds, was Lane Zardo. Zardo had to be optimistic about his chances in the race after topping the time sheets in both practice sessions. He was the fastest in qualifying until the final lap, when Jay Cox knocked him out of the top spot. Zardo started the feature on the pole. The driver of the No. 36Z Bester Forest Products Ford Mustang was able to fend off the winner, Carson Nagy, for twenty-nine laps.
Darrell Lake is a regular at Delaware Speedway and competes in the track’s Inventory Express Lubricant Super Stock series. Lake qualified third fastest, driving the No. 77 Drive Systems Ford Mustang. He started in the fifth position and battled in a pack that included Nic Ramsay, Brody Rickwood and Jay Cox. On lap thirty-two, Lake secured fourth, and three circuits later, he was in third place. He held the position to the checkered flag.
Another Inventory Express Lubricant competitor entered in round two of the Dayco Super Stock series was Jay Cox. Cox pilots the No. 00 YoVu sponsored Chevrolet Camaro. He is currently sixth in the Delaware track championship. During time trials, Cox put his track knowledge to good use and was the fastest qualifier. He lined up sixth for the fifty-lap contest. Cox was able to pass Brody Rickwood and finished in the fifth position.
