Subaru Motorsports worked with Hoonigan to unveil the Brataroo. The Brataroo is based on a Subaru Brat.
The Brat’s original 1.6-liter motor produced 67 horsepower and has been replaced by a race-prepared turbocharged 2.0-liter Subaru Boxer with 670 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque.
The four-wheel-drive vehicle uses a six-speed sequential SADEV gearbox.
The Brataroo will be driven byTravis Pastrana in a Gymkhana video.

WhistlinDiesel is a YouTube channel with 10 million subscribers.
They build incredible things, the most recent of which is a Ram Diesel with seventeen turbochargers.
Before installing the turbochargers, they measured performance and found the truck had 397 horsepower and 459 lb-ft of torque.
Optimistically, the team estimated the Cummins engine would deliver 38,000; however, the increase was only marginal.

The outdoor exhibits at the SEMA Show are becoming as popular as the displays and vehicles in the Halls.
Optima Batteries used the parking lot beside the South Hall for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge and drifting demonstrations.
There is also the Hoonigan compound, which is very popular with the showgoers.
Then there is the Horsepower Rodeo, which is located next to the West Hall.
Each venue included vehicles from the Australian Burnout Championship.

Method Race Wheels are on many of the fastest Trophy Trucks.
When you order them, the wheels come in a cardboard box.
Method took a different approach to showcasing their product line.
A full-size, detail-correct Trophy Truck built entirely out of Method shipping boxes was on display in the West Hall.
Every great build starts with a box.
Beyond the box lives the spirit of Method Race Wheels.

This is a Fusconeta Volkspod Mini Bike.
One of the first people to build a Beetle mini bike was Brent Walter.
After restoring a Volkswagen, Walter had two spare fenders which he grafted together and added a head and taillight.
The Fuconeta Volkspod draws inspiration from Walter.
It features a fiberglass Volkswagen Beetle fender and a 212 cc engine. The top speed is approximately 40 MPH.

Italian race car manufacturer Dallara is the sole constructor for several race series – the IndyCar Series, Indy NXT, FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, and the Super Formula Championship.
Their reach also extends to street cars. One such model is the Dallara EXP.
It is powered by a tuned Ford Ecoboost 2.3-liter that produces 500 horsepower.
The EXP features an enhanced aerodynamics package that generates over 3,000 pounds of downforce.

John Ludwick is documenting his work on this 1960 Auto Union 1000SP.
Auto Union produced the 1000SP from 1958 to 1965 with a 981cc two-stroke, three-cylinder engine. Ludwick uses a VW Type 3 motor.
The car is bagged with Air Lift Performance products and uses a Beetle chassis.
The suspension components are from Eva Resto and Aircooled VW. The original wheels have been replaced with BBS E50 and SRR Hardware.

The Red Baron was inspired by Tom Daniel’s Monogram model kit.
The Red Baron was commissioned by Bob Larivee to custom car builder Chuck Miller.
The model was powered by a 1914 Mercedes aircraft engine; however, it was replaced by an inline Pontiac six-cylinder.
The steel body sits on a custom frame. The helmet is made of fiberglass and finished with silver metal flake paint.
The project debuted at the January 1969 Detroit Autorama.

Procharger Superchargers used the opportunity to showcase some of their product offerings.
This is a Noonan 540 cu.in. 4.9 Hemi, which uses a Bryant Racing Crankshaft with CP Pistons.
Procharger Supercharger has added several of the company’s components to the motor, such as a Procharger F4X-140-1 supercharger.
The engine on display produces over 4,000 horsepower.

Pulsar Turbo Systems bought this Chrysler Valiant VG Wayfarer utility vehicle to SEMA.
The Ute was produced in Australia from 1970 to 1971 with a 245 cu.in. Hemi six-cylinder engine which produces 165 horsepower.
However, this particular Chrysler has a turbocharged Barra motor. The Barra, only available in Australia, is a popular alternative to the Toyota 2JZ.
The powerplant was used in Ford Falcons from 2002 to 2016, and when modified, can produce over 1,000 horsepower.
