The Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series was formed at the end of the 2017 season by promoters
from Peterborough Speedway, Sauble Speedway, Jukasa Motor Speedway, Flamboro Speedway, and Sunset Speedway.
They aimed to grow Ontario's fastest full-body stock car shows by ensuring that the Super Late Models are
prepared according to a consistent set of rules, there aren't scheduling conflicts, and healthy purses to attract competitors.
This year's championship kicks off in June at Sunset Speedway and ends nine rounds later on October 4 at Flamboro Speedway.
- June 7 - Sunset Speedway
- June 14 - Flamboro Speedway
- June 28 - Sunset Speedway

There are several engine choices:
- Cars with a crate engine must weigh no less than 2,600 lbs.
- Outlaw Super Late Models using a built motor with cast iron heads are required to weigh no less than 2,650 lbs.

Cars are weighed with the driver, and the distribution on the left side must not exceed 60%.
All competitors race on Hoosier Tires.

The race at Sunset would be the series' penultimate round. Drivers competed in a seventy-five-lap contest around the 1/3-mile banked asphalt oval.

An interesting scenario unfolded with the entry of the No. 84 London Recreational Racing Modified.
The car has been driven this year by Shawn Chenoweth and entered as 89C.
For 'The Last Dance,' Chenoweth handed over the driving duties to Andy Kamrath.
The number change was to allow the championship leader, JR Fitzpatrich, to collect points.
Kamrath was the fastest qualifier, started fifth after the invert and won the race.

Brandon Passer is second in the championship chase with one race remaining and is ten points behind the leader, JR Fitzpatrich.
Passer won the season's first race driving the No. 52 Simcoe Barge and Break Wall Modified.
During the qualifying session, he was sixth fastest and just missed the invert.
With the retirement of Brad Pearsall and Glenn Watson, Passer moved up the race order.
He also finished second, getting past TJ Edwards and Brandon Watson.

Dwayne Baker is a regular at Sunset Speedway and has the distinction of winning the inaugural APC United Late Model race at the track.
At 'The Last Dance,' Baker was entered in the No. 48 Zancor Homes sponsored Modified. He qualified seventh fastest.
Baker joined the lead group early in the race and put pressure on Glenn Watson before getting past.
He also got by Brandon Watson and TJ Edwards to finish in the third position.

After winning last year's Just Foam It OSCAAR Modified championship, TJ Edwards decided to take on a new challenge and entered this season's Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model series.
Edwards is campaigning the No. 34 Just Foam It Spray Insulation Modified.
He was fifth fastest in qualifying for round eight and after the invert started first.
Unable to hold off Andy Kamrath, Brandon Passer, and Dwayne Baker, Edwards finished fifth.
