Now in its thirty-fifth year, the Ontario Stock Car Association of Asphalt Racers (OSCAAR) is responsible for sanctioning two divisions: Modified and Hot Rod.

On November 1, 2022, it was announced that OSCAAR had merged with the United Racing Series. The relationship increases OSCAAR's resources and allows the United Racing Series to expand its brand and footprint in motorsports.

During the off-season Overkill Enterprises replaced Just Foam It as the title sponsor for the OSCAAR Modifieds.

There are eight races on the 2025 Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified schedule.

  • May 31 - Flamboro Speedway
  • June 28 - Delaware Speedway
  • July 12 - Full Throttle Motor Speedway
  • July 26 - Peterborough Speedway
  • August 16 - Sauble Speedway
  • September 27 - Delaware Speedway
  • October 4 - Flamboro Speedway
  • October 10 - Peterborough Speedway

The cars competing in this class are purpose-built open-wheel vehicles. The Modifieds use a steel tube frame chassis, which is no less than 1-3/4-inch outside diameter with 0.095-inch wall thickness. Bodies are made of sheet metal, with the driver s compartment and engine bay covered. The cars may be any make or model, but they tend to have little to no resemblance to their road-going counterparts.

The engine option selected by the car owner determines the weight of the vehicle. A Modified using 350-horsepower Crate Engine is the lightest at 2,600 pounds and 2,775 pounds is required for a car powered by a Built Motor. Weight may be added or removed depending on the choice of transmission.

Many of the other rules governing the OSCAAR Modified class are for driver safety and to keep costs down.

Round six of the 2025 Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified series was a thirty-lap contest around Delaware Speedway's half-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

Ten Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified series competitors line up on Delaware Speedway's back straight for round six of the championship. Pacing the field is the No. 18 Oakville Auto and Diesel Modified driven by Jason Keen. Beside Keen is the Ryan Dick in the No. 88 Darrell Dick Excavating sponsored Modified. In row two are the No. 51 Scott Reinhart Trailers Modified of Dale Reinhart and Steve McCaw in the No. 4 Ray Cullen Chevrolet Modified.
Dale Reinhart entered round six as one of two drivers vying for this year's championship. Reinhart's season has included five top-five finishes in as many starts, of which one was a victory. At Delaware, the driver of the No. 51 Scott Reinhart Trailers Modified had a near-perfect event. Reinhart was entered in the second heat race and won. He lined up third for the feature and grabbed the victory. Unfortunately, it was not enough to secure the title.
Steve Trendell was the other competitor with a shot at this season's crown. Trendell's record in the first five rounds was similar to that of his rival, Dale Reinhart. However, his weekend unfolded in sharp contrast to Reinhart's. Trendell tangled with Ryan Dick in the heat race. His car was damaged and he finished fifth. Trendell was gridded eighth for the feature and he made little progress early in the race. Late in the contest, Trendell moved into second place, which was enough to secure the title by one point.
Bryan Batty drives the No. 39 Lloyds Paving / Jim White Trailer Sales Modified. Round six was his second Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified contest of the season. His first race of the year was also at Delaware Speedway. He finished a disappointing ninth. In an effort to redeem himself, he captured a win in heat race one.  Batty was gridded in the sixth position for the feature. During the thirty-lap contest, he advanced three spots for a third-place finish.
The top three finishers for round six of the 2025 Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modified Series. In the center is the race winner, Dale Reinhart. Reinhart entered the championship weekend eight markers behind the points leader, Steve Trendell. Despite victories in the heat and feature races, he came up short by a single point. On the right is the runner-up and this year's champion, Trendell. Completing the top three is Bryan Batty.
