In 2020, arrangements were made for the popular Super Stock division to compete as a support event at three APC United Late Model Series rounds. Contests were conducted at Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway, with the finale at Jukasa Motor Speedway. In 2021, the class received backing from Qwick Wick Fire Starters for the inaugural five-race championship. This year Dayco Belts and Hoses has replace Qwick Wick as the series primary sponsor.

There are five Dayco Super Stock Series events this season.

  • Saturday, June 15 - Peterborough Speedway
  • Friday, June 28 - Delaware Speedway
  • Saturday, July 13 - Flamboro Speedway
  • Saturday, August 10 - Sunset Speedway
  • Friday, September 6 - Delaware Speedway

The Super Stock category includes a variety of makes and models from the ‘60s to the current year. The rules used in the class allow some suspension modifications and changes to the bodies. Some Super Stock cars retain the original steel bodies with plastic noses and fiberglass hoods; however, most use fiberglass body panels. They are powered by a modified small-block engines or crate motors from General Motors and Ford. The division serves as a ‘stepping stone’ for those drivers who aspire to compete in the Pro Late Model category.

A new restart procedure was introduced last year by series officials for the APC United Late Model and Dayco Super Stock divisions called the 'choose rule.' On restarts, competitors are allowed to choose their lane. Their selection may be determined by the condition of the track, how many cars are ahead of them or the handling of their vehicle. If a driver changes their choice after the designated 'choose spot,' they must start from the rear of the field.

Round three of the 2024 Dayco Super Stock Series was held at Flamboro Speedway.  The Dayco Super Stock feature was a fifty-lap contest around Flamboro's 0.333-mile semi-banked asphalt oval.

The pace lap for round three of the 2024 Dayco Super Stock Series. Eleven competitors line up on Flamboro Speedway's back straight. Pacing the field is Brody Rickwood in the No. 83 Chevrolet Camaro. Roy Wilkie was initially scheduled to start on the pole, but after a couple of failed attempts to start the contest, he was sent to the back of the grid. Ryan Dyson was sharing the front row with Rickwood in the No. 29 Chevrolet Camaro.
After three rounds, the Dayco Super Stock Series organizers can boast as many winners. The 2021 champion, Lane Zardo, was the fastest qualifier in the No. 36Z Bester Forest Products Ford Mustang and started the fifty-lap contest in the fourth spot. Zardo entered round three second in the standings based on second and third place results. At Flamboro, he moved methodically up the race order for the victory and points lead.
Finishing 0.385 seconds behind Lane Zardo was Ryan Dyson. The Dayco Super Stock Series' most recent winner drives the No. 28 Douglas Window & Door Chevrolet Camaro. During the qualifying session at Flamboro Speedway, Dyson recorded the third-fastest time and started the feature on the outside of the front row.  On lap 28, he passed Brody Rickwood for second and would hold the position to the checkered flag.
With a win at Peterborough and fourth at Delaware Speed, the series' defending champion, Carson Nagy, led the points chase. Unfortunately, Nagy could not complete a lap in qualifying as he had an engine issue with the No. 93 Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC Chevrolet Camaro. Fellow competitor Coltin Everingham offered Nagy the No. 48 Gunn's Auto Service Chevrolet Camaro. Starting at the rear of the field, Nagy finished third.
Shawn Chenoweth, driving the No. 89C London Recreation Racing Chevrolet Camaro, was the second fastest during time trials and gridded third for the feature. By the mid-point of the fifty-lap contest, Chenoweth was on the bumper of the race leader, Lane Zardo and pushing hard. Unfortunately, it all came to an end on lap 36. With a cloud of smoke trailing him, he retired with a rear-end problem.
The top three finishers for round three of the Dayco Super Stock Series at Flamboro Speedway. The winner and new points leader, Lane Zardo, stands in the center. On the left is the winner of round two and runner-up Ryan Dyson. Despite a fourteen-place result in the season opener, Dyson is third in the championship. After an engine failure and starting at the rear, Carson Nagy did well to finish third but fell to second in the title chase.
