In 2021, FEL (Franczak Enterprises Ltd.), an automotive learning and promotion company, expanded its presence in Canadian motorsports.

FEL saw an opportunity to revitalize and reinvest in Canadian car racing. As a featured sponsor, FEL's foray into the 2017 Toyo Tires F1600 Series resulted in fields growing from twelve to fifteen entries to over thirty cars in just three years.

The company is now making its mark in the Touring and Sports Racer categories. The FEL Motorsports Sports Car Championship Canada is for vehicles prepared to GT4, TCR and TCA specifications. Various models of the purpose-built Radical SR3 sports racers compete in the FEL Cup Canada.

Three classes participate in the FEL Motorsports 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin GT4, TCR and TCA.

  • GT4 These cars are prepared to the SRO (Stephane Ratel Organisation) GT4 technical specifications. The quicker of the two groups, this class includes cars such as the Ford Mustang GT4, BMW M4 GT4, Mercedes-AMG, Audi R8 and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Vehicles competing in this division produce between 400 - 450 horsepower and are capable of speeds over 175-mph.
  • TCR - This class is based on the global touring car category TCR. Vehicles racing in this group include the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, Honda Civic TCR, Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR and Audi RS3 LMS TCR. They use a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which will produce between 300 350-horsepower.
  • TCA Cars competing in this group have a minimum amount of modifications. Most changes are to improve the safety of the vehicles. Using turbocharged or normally aspirated power plants, these cars produce between 160 and 185-horsepower.

There are five events and each race weekend consists of two forty-minute contests.

  • May 17-19 - Canadian Tire Motorsport
  • June 20-23 - Calabogie Motorsport Park
  • July 18-20 - Honda Indy Toronto
  • August 8-11 - Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres
  • August 30 - September 1 - Canadian Tire Motorsport

Rounds five and six of the 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada, presented by Michelin, were held at Toronto's Exhibition Place during the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto event. Drivers competed in two forty-minute contests around an eleven-turn 1.755-mile temporary street circuit.

Four GT4 entries were the first to receive the Starter's flag. Following them through Toronto's Exhibition Place, turn nine are nine TCR competitors and four TCA drivers for round five of the Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin. On the TCR pole is the No. 95 Martella Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS TCR of Anthony Martella. Beside Martella is Tom Kwok, who drives the No. 55 M&S Racing Honda Civic TCR.
Jack Polito swept the proceedings in rounds five and six, giving him a perfect win record in 2024. Polito has nine consecutive victories going back to the final three races of last year. However, this weekend's wins weren't without a challenge. On the opening lap, Justin Di Benedetto grabbed the lead, but twelve circuits later, he hit the wall exiting turn one and retired. Polito moved into first place. On Sunday, Polito went unchallenged.
Canadian Touring car veteran Richard Boake drives the No. 84 Blanchet Motorsports Audi RS3 LMS TCR.  During practice at Toronto, Boake crashed and missed qualifying while repairs were made. He started race one from the rear, but a lengthy caution period allowed him to close up on the field. On the restart, he grabbed first place and won. Boake finished second to Anthony Martella in the weekend's second race but still leads the point chase.
The GT4 podium for round five of the Sports Car Championship Canada at Toronto's Exhibition Place. In the center is the category points leader and winner, Jack Polito. Polito has a perfect record in the No. 22 Polito Racing Ford Mustang GT4. On the left from VPX Motorsport is the runner-up, Cayden Goodridge. Completing the rostrum is Jared Odrick. This was the first series start for the former NFL player and current TA2 competitor.
Like Jack Polito, Eric Kunz tops the TCA category standings with four straight wins driving the No. 25 Eric Kunz Racing Honda Civic Si TCA. In the first race of the weekend at Exhibition Place, Kunz battled with Robert Cipriani-Detres until Cipriani-Detres had an incident late in the race. It was win number five on the season. On Sunday, Kunz's streak came to an end. Unable to match the pace of Cipriani-Detres, he finished second.
Anthony Martella pilots the No. 95 Martella Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS TCR. After four rounds, the rookie has three TCR podium results. Despite his limited experience, Martella qualified for race one in Toronto on the class pole. A late race caution in Saturday's contest bunched the field. He was unable to hold off Richard Boake and finished second. In the finale, Martella withstood a challenge from Ron Tomlinson and Boake for his first series victory.
Saturday's TCR podium for round five, the 2024 Sports Car Canada Championship in Toronto. On the top step is Canadian Touring Car veteran and class winner Richard Boake. It was an incredible feat as Boake started at the back of the field and took advantage of a restart after an extended caution period to grab the lead. On the left and competing in his first street race is the runner-up, Anthony Martella. The final spot on the rostrum belongs to Gary Kwok.
Robert Cipriani-Detres joins the TCA category after a stint in the Radical Cup North America series. Cipriani-Detres drives the No. 5 Sanders Motorsport Subaru BRZ TCA.  After four rounds, he finds himself chasing Eric Kunz. Cipriani-Detres had reason to be optimistic heading into Toronto as he had a Radical victory at the circuit. In round five, Cipriani-Detres challenged Kunz, but an incident took him out of contention.   In the finale, he redeemed himself with a victory.
The top three finishers in the TCA category stand on the rostrum in Toronto for round five of the Sports Car Canada Championship. In the center and earning his fifth consecutive category win of 2024 is Eric Kunz. A beneficiary of the Robert Cipriani-Detres incident on Saturday was Sanders Motorsport driver Peter Hanson, who finished in the runner-up position. Cipriani-Detres occupies the final position of the podium.
