In 2021, FEL (Franczak Enterprises Ltd.), an automotive learning and promotion company, expanded its presence in Canadian motorsports.

FEL saw an opportunity to revitalize and reinvest in Canadian car racing. As a featured sponsor, FEL's foray into the 2017 Toyo Tires F1600 Series resulted in fields growing from twelve to fifteen entries to over thirty cars in just three years.

The company is now making its mark in the Touring and Sports Racer categories. The FEL Motorsports Sports Car Championship Canada is for vehicles prepared to GT4, TCR and TCA specifications. Various models of the purpose-built Radical SR3 sports racers compete in the FEL Cup Canada.

Three classes participate in the FEL Motorsports 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin GT4, TCR and TCA.

  • GT4 These cars are prepared to the SRO (Stephane Ratel Organisation) GT4 technical specifications. The quicker of the two groups, this class includes cars such as the Ford Mustang GT4, BMW M4 GT4, Mercedes-AMG, Audi R8 and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Vehicles competing in this division produce between 400 - 450 horsepower and are capable of speeds over 175-mph.
  • TCR - This class is based on the global touring car category TCR. Vehicles racing in this group include the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, Honda Civic TCR, Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR and Audi RS3 LMS TCR. They use a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which will produce between 300 350-horsepower.
  • TCA Cars competing in this group have a minimum amount of modifications. Most changes are to improve the safety of the vehicles. Using turbocharged or normally aspirated power plants, these cars produce between 160 and 185-horsepower.

There are five events and each race weekend consists of two forty-minute contests.

  • May 17-19 - Canadian Tire Motorsport
  • June 20-23 - Calabogie Motorsport Park
  • July 18-20 - Honda Indy Toronto
  • August 8-11 - Grand Prix Trois-Rivieres
  • August 30 - September 1 - Canadian Tire Motorsport

The final two rounds of the 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada, presented by Michelin, were conducted at Canadian Motorsport Park during the Labour Day Sprints. Drivers competed in two forty-minute contests around the ten-turn 2.459-mile road course.

The two GT4 competitors have received the Starter’s flag for the final round of the 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada. The second wave of TCR and TCA drivers enter corner one for the forty-minute contest. On the pole is the TCR title contender Anthony Martella in the No. 95 Martella Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS. Beside Martella is the class points leader, Richard Boake, driving the No. 84 Blanchet Motorsports Audi RS3 LMS.
Jack Polito entered the final weekend of the championship having already secured the GT4 title. His 2024 record included an impressive seven victories and just one DNF. The 22 Polito Racing Ford Mustang GT4 appeared in Comstock livery, Ford's Canada factory supported team in the 1960s. Polito qualified on the pole for race one but had to pass Cayden Goodridge during the contest for the win.  The next day, he retired on lap-23 with a fuel pressure issue.
TCR was the only class where two competitors had a realistic chance of securing the title. Richard Boake led the standings, but the crown could go to Anthony Martella if he stumbled. Boake qualified second for the weekend's first race but passed the pole-sitter, Martella, on the opening lap for the win. On Sunday, Martella got the better of Boake and grabbed the win. The runner-up result was enough for him to earn the championship.
Entering the final rounds of the series, TCR rookie Anthony Martella was second in the title chase, twenty-four points behind the category leader, Richard Boake.  Martella put the No. 95 Martella Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS on the pole for the penultimate race. Unfortunately, on the opening lap, he went wide in turn one, allowing Boake to grab the victory. In the finale, he went flag-to-flag and collected the overall and class win.

On the left is this year's class champion and the runner-up from Blanchet Motorsports, Richard Boake. The remaining position of the rostrum belongs to the third-place finisher, Ruben Volt.
A class victory in Saturday's contest gave Eric Kunz the TCA title. In the weekend's first race, the No. 25 Eric Kunz Racing Honda Civic Si driver ran a distant second to the category leader Robert Cipriani-Detres. However, Cipriani-Detres retired on lap-19. Kunz went unchallenged for the remainder of the race to collect the win and championship. The next day, Kunz had issues and retired on the tenth lap.
Cayden Goodridge was a first-time winner at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Labour Day Sprints. Goodridge completed a partial schedule in 2024 and only entered six rounds, with his best results being second place finishes at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Toronto. He jumped into the lead in round nine but would collect another runner-up result. In the final round, Goodridge won when the leader, Jack Polito, retired.
Estonian Ruben Volt joined the series for the final two rounds. Volt has experience competing in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series, TCR Italy, and TCR World Tour. At Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, he piloted the No. 8 M&S Racing Honda Civic TCR, usually driven by Jonathan Young. Volt ran as high as second in Saturday's contest but would finish third. He was third overall and in TCR in the year's final race.
American Robert Cipriani-Dentres entered the final weekend with a mathematical chance of earning this year's TCA championship. Cipriani-Dentres had wins in Toronto, Trois-Rivieres but also two DNFs. He charged into the lead of race one at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park but retired on lap-19 when the No. 5 Sanders Motorsport Subaru BRZ began smoking heavily. With repairs made for Sunday, he overcame a missed shift and earned the victory.
The TCA podium for the final race of the 2024 Sports Car Championship Canada at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Standing on the top step is the winner, Robert Cipriani-Dentres. This was Cipriani-Dentres' third victory of the season, but it was not enough to secure the title, which went to Eric Kunz. On the left from M&S Racing is the runner-up, Felix Kwok. The final position on the rostrum belongs to Peter Hanson.
