Last year’s Canadian International AutoShow was still feeling the impact of the pandemic. In 2024, over fifteen new brands returned to the AutoShow while the industry continues to rebuild and reinvent itself.

The theme for this year’s AutoShow was The Revolution. This seems appropriate as the manufacturers deal with the transformation of vehicle technologies and how the dealer network operates.

The manufacturer’s latest offerings are the most critical aspect of the show. On hand at the 300 level were Fiat Chrysler, Ram, Genesis, Stellantis, Tesla, Vinfast, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan and Subaru. On level 800 – main floor were Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Lincoln, Volvo, Polestar, and Lexus.

Features at this year’s AutoShow included:

  • The Revzone and Castrol Alley which appeared on Level 700 with a Porsche exhibit.
  • The popular Auto Exotica was back in its familiar location. It showcased Cobble Beach Classics, Rivian, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Lotus.
  • Camp Jeep allowed guests to experience the legendary off-road vehicles without leaving the building.
  • Electric City was a one-stop destination for attendees to learn about automotive electrification.
  • Canada’s largest indoor EV test track and the Outdoor Test Drive Program were also there.
  • Additionally, Ferrari of Ontario presented cars such as the Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F50, and Ferrari 288 GTO, which are part of the Classiche Certification Program.
  • The four winners from this year’s Canadian Car of the Year Award, as selected by members of the Automobile Journalist Association of Canada, appeared at the AutoShow.

The Canadian International AutoShow, which ran from February 16 to 25, saw record attendance. During the ten-day run, 371,559 people visited the event, beating the 2018 record of 358,842.

Interestingly, the new Fraztonic chambered exhaust delivers a sound that rivals the SRT Hellcat.
