After a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 41st running of the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) Vintage Grand Prix was held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). This year was also marked the 60th anniversary of the tracks opening in 1961. The featured marque for 2021 is Lotus and there was also a special contest for MG and Triumph-based cars. The weekend also included the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship and the inaugural rounds of the FEL Sports Car Championship Canada and FEL Cup Canada. Vehicles racing at CTMP compete in one of five broad categories depending on the type and age of the automobile. Within many of the categories are a number of classes.

Almost 130-drivers competed in twenty-minute races around Canadian Tire Motorsport Parks ten-turn, 2.459-mile road course.
