On the weekend of July 16-17, Shannonville Motorsport Park hosted the CTCC Summer Challenge. The event included rounds seven, eight and nine of the Canadian Touring Car Championship and Toyo Tires F1600 Championship. Also on the schedule were invitational races for F1200 and Grand Touring competitors.

All races were run on the 2.47-kilometer Pro Circuit layout.
