The Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) club was founded in the mid-70s, with its first event at Road Atlanta.
HSR’s philosophy is to create memorable motorsport weekends for competitors and fans. HSR events include legendary cars from Trans-Am, Can-Am, Formula 5000, NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA and the amateur ranks. The cars are grouped according to the vehicle’s age and engine displacement to keep the racing close. Major HSR events attract over 300 cars and up to 40,000 spectators. HSR ran as a support event for the IZOD IndyCar series at this year’s Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, bringing an eclectic mix of cars. ENTRIES
