The Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) club was founded in the mid-70s with the goal of celebrating race cars from the past. HSR provided attendees at the 2000 Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway with an opportunity to view some of these historic vehicles. On Friday, there was the 1.5-hour Rolex Enduro for the HSR’s Thundersports Cup Enduro class. The Thundersports category includes former Can Am, FIA sports prototypes, IMSA GTP, GTP Lights and two-liter sports prototypes. Before to the Rolex 24, Saturday, the ’24 Minutes of Daytona’ featured famous cars and drivers.
