1964 Mosport - Player's 200
Originating in 1961, the Player's 200 was funded and promoted by one of Canada's largest tobacco companies with organizational help from the Canadian Racing Drivers' Association. In 1977 a two-class (Category I and II) system was introduced to the Trans Am series. By 1979 the dual class structure had run its course and the SCCA decided to eliminate Category II for the next season. CLICK HERE as we take a look back at the 1979 Mosport Trans Am race.

1978 Mosport - USAC Champ Car Series
The 1978 USAC Champ Car event at Mosport was particularly unique, as it was one of only three races in the championship that were contested on road courses. In the not to distant future road courses would become a common place for these cars and drivers. CLICK HERE to take a look back at this event.
