The cars competing in the NASCAR Canada Series are constructed to specifications and rules common to most stock car series. The chassis is a steel tube frame design covered with a fiberglass body and must weigh no less than 3050 lbs. Body styles are from manufacturers such as Dodge (Challenger), Ford (Mustang) and Chevrolet (Camaro). Engine type and displacement are dictated by the make and model of the vehicle. The carbureted eight-cylinder motors produce approximately 550 horsepower. Cars are estimated to have a top speed of 160 mph, depending on the gearing.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park hosted round nine of the 2025 NASCAR Canada series. Drivers competed in a fifty-one lap contest around the ten-turn 2.459-mile road course during the Labour Day Weekend Sprints.

The start of the WeatherTech 200 for round nine of the 2025 NASCAR Canada Series. Leading the field of twenty-seven drivers is the pole-sitter, Andrew Ranger, in the No. 27 GM Pallie / Chevrolet Canada Chevrolet Camaro. Immediately behind Ranger is the No. 59 AutologiQ / Hoffman Plastics Dodge Challenger of the third fastest qualifier, Gary Klutt. Keeping pace with the leaders is the No. 22 MBS Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro of Kyle Steckly.
Marc-Antoine Camirand leads the 2025 points chase, with victories at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Edmonton International Raceway and Circuit ICAR. The series two-time champion qualified fifth fastest in the No. 96 GM Paille / Chevrolet Canada Chevrolet Camaro.  Camirand remained in contention during the race. On the final lap, he closed on the leader, Sam Fellows. A bump in Moss corner gave Camirand the lead and victory.
Connor Bell obtained a lot of his closed wheel racing experience competing in the Super Production Challenge. It has served him well as Bell won his first-ever NASCAR Canadian race at Calabogie Motorsport Park. Driving for the experienced Team 3 Red, he put the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro eleventh on the grid. Bell joined the leaders and an aggressive pass on Sam Fellow during the charge to the checker resulted in a second-place finish.
Sam Fellows' team has chosen to focus on the road course events. Many of the Fellows' races have ended in frustration after suffering mechanical issues or contact from other competitors. The team was happy starting ninth in the WeatherTech 200. Fellows pitted for gas early, but a decision was made to not change tires to obtain an advantage on the track. It worked as he led thirty laps. Unfortunately, he was passed by Marc-Antoine Camirand and Connor Bell on the final lap.
Donald Theetge and Alex Tagliani are splitting the driving duties on the No. 80 St. Hubert / UPS Store / DryShine Chevrolet Camaro. Theetge is tenth in points, with runner-up results at Edmonton International Raceway and Autodrome Chaudiere. Tagliani is twelfth in the standings with a season high of third at Circuit ICAR. Tagliani was fastest in practice at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and started and finished fourth.
Andrew Ranger is the series' three-time champion and is second in the 2025 standings – twelve markers behind his teammate, Marc-Antoine Camirand. Ranger's season includes one victory, which was at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres, driving the No. 27 GM Paille Chevrolet Chevrolet Camaro. At Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, he grabbed the pole and led early for a total of seventeen laps. A slow pit stop dropped him down the order. Ranger finished fifth.
Two-time NASCAR Canada Series champion DJ Kennington drives the familiar No. 17 Castrol Edge / Brimstone Games  / CIM Metals Dodge Challenger.   He is currently third in the championship standings, with a win at Riverside International Speedway. In the qualifying session, Kennington recorded the sixth fastest time. During the race, he remained in contention and crossed the finish line in the sixth position.
The No. 22 MBS Motorsports / Sierra Excavating / APC Chevrolet Camaro is piloted by Kyle Steckly. Steckly is the son of NASCAR Canada's four-time champion Scott. His primary focus this season is Late Model series in Canada and the US. Since 2022, Steckly has competed in fourteen NASCAR events. Round nine was his third contest of 2025. Steckly lined up on the outside of the front row and led a lap before finishing seventh.
